News: City FMRadio station shuts down over fuel scarcity

It is unsure how many radio stations would be following suit in this new measures to save fuel consumption by the radio stations.

By 12 midnight on Sunday, May 24, 2015, another radio station, City 105.1 FM would be shutting down transmission in other to ration fuel consumption in the broadcasting house.

This announcement was revealed by the City FM just minutes after Beat FM's management announced the termination of transmission on Saturday at 8:30 PM till Sunday, May 24, 2015.

Just like Beat FM, the management of City FM took to its official Twitter account to announce to its teeming fans and listeners that transmission would be shutdown as a result of 'fuel shortage.'

It is unsure how many radio stations would be following suit in this new measures to save fuel consumption by the radio stations.
