Nigeria’s new President will be
inaugurated on Friday 29 May at Eagle Square, Abuja. On the same
day State Governors will also be inaugurated in their respective states. These
inaugurations may "cause disruptions to travel, including road closures
and increased security,” the United Kingdom said in a message sent to its
citizens.
The Inspector-General of Police
(IGP), Solomon Arase, has ordered the diversion of traffic on all roads
around the venue of the swearing-in ceremony.
