The most lucrative fight in the history of boxing takes place tonight (i.e. 3rd May, 5 AM Nigerian Time) in Las Vegas between Floyd Mayweather scaled 146lb and Manny Pacquiao, 145lb. The fight is set to generate an estimated $400 million (£265million). It is reported that Tickets are changing hands on the resale market for as much as $350,000, with some others prepared to pay $3,500 to watch the fight in one of 10 closed-circuit venues along the Las Vegas Strip. The duo will fight for the WBC, WBA and WBO welterweight titles.
38-year-old Mayweather, who is unbeaten in 47 professional fights believe that he is going to emerge victorious with his skills. Pacquiao, who has 57 wins and five defeats from 64 pro fights, believes the Lord will always be with him and deliver Mayweather into his hands. Whoever wins this weekend's fight will be able to claim he's the best fighter of his era, as Mayweather and Pacquiao have won world titles in five and six different weight divisions respectively.
